The Well Church | Sunday Service | What Is Love: I Got A Love Letter | Oct 26, 2025

Oct 26, 2025    Derrick Killebrew

This powerful message reminds us that God has written us the ultimate love letter—the Bible—and it took Him approximately 1,500 years to complete it. Unlike the fleeting promises of human relationships that often end in heartbreak, God's love letter contains promises that can never be broken because He cannot lie, cannot fail, and cannot stop being who He is. The central scripture, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, reveals that all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that we may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. We learn that this isn't just motivational text—it's divine communication meant to shape how we learn, how we apply what we learn, and how we prepare for spiritual battle. The message challenges us to examine three critical areas of our lives: Do we know how to fight in spiritual warfare? Do we love others well? And do we treat God like He's actually the author of our instruction manual? When we ignore the love letter, we fight unarmed, love poorly, and question the very God who has already answered our deepest concerns. The call is clear: return to the letter, read it intimately, and let it equip us not just for ministry, but for life itself.
